As soon as the radiotherapy treatment is over, the follow-up process begins. This means you will return to the radiation oncologist with investigations (CT, MRI, etc.) and specific tests, and check-ups with the doctors involved in your treatments (oncologist, surgeon, etc.). Follow-up lasts for 5 years, with different periodicities (3, 6 months, or 1 year, depending on the type of cancer and treatments received).
